DASH diet



DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. The diet lowers high blood pressure and "bad cholesterol", reduces inflammation and improves overall cardiovascular health. You eat a lot of vegetables, fruits and low-fat dairy, whole grains, lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, nuts and vegetable oils The DASH is quite similar to the mediterranenan diet.
